Inj Aclasta once a year mfged by Novartis - is it safe?

I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis and osteopenia. my Orthopedic has prescribed me some calcium, multi vitamins and has suggested to take"Fosavance" tables once a week for one year"Inj Aclasta" manufactured and marketed by Novartis.Searching on internet, Fosavance has ok report about supplementing vitamin D3 with no or minimum side effects. But reports about Inj are mixed and scary. What shall I do? Take the inj or not? Any guidance, experience sharing from group members? Any other…See More

NEETA, UNFORTUNATELY MY NET WAS NOT WORKING TILL LATE SUNDAY EVENING , HENCE THIS LAST MINUTE INFORMATION. NOTWITHSTANDING.... LETS SEE IF WE CAN MEET DURING BNP RUN. BTW I WAS THERE FOR THE RUN. MANAGED 10 K IN APPROX 56-57 MINS.
