energizer night race

Dear CR's

I found this blog maintained by a bunch of Malaysia-based runners that has a list of marathons being conducted in Southeast Asia and other parts of the world.



One particular race that caught my attention is the Energizer Night Race 2011 to be conducted on April 16, 2011 at the Sepang Race Track in Malaysia.

Fauja Singh 99yrs old , India, became the world'd oldest half marathon runner

Hatts off to punjab tiger. Turbaned Tornado, 99, Fauja Singh became the world's oldest half marathon runner (subject to ratification) after completing the Inter Faith Luxembourg half marathon. yday's experience of running at sukhna full round to pendown is next to impossible, because pleasent weather , cool breeze n hearth throbing love of nature, showered on us is beyond words. thanks a lot that u all enjoyed

thanks to all the runners of hill drills held on 25th march. especial thanks to Dr(Mrs.)apram n Major Sidhu n kawaldeep,who boosted our courage to go further n to reach on the tope of tara hill. v cannot forget the scene of lovely cliff at 90 degree.hope same will happen at barog hill station very soon

The Hyderabad Runners have announced the launch of the 2011 Hyderabad Marathon. Here are the details.

Book your calendars for 28th August 2011 for the Hyderabad Marathon!

Runners will be able to participate in a full and a half marathon.

Details will be announced at the Marathon website – http://marathonhyderabad.com and the registrations will be opening the third week of June.

The route and training plans will be up on the website shortly. We request you to participate, get your running friends to participate and make it a grand success! Please pass on this information to your runner friends.

My running is fine as compare to all past years.  Doing  21 km long run each month from Jan 2011.  This sunday bandra-ncpa is on card.
