update... the runner's bash is now finalised for 22nd jan (see discussion thread on main page). as hall capacity is limited, we're urging runners to book early to avoid disappointment. we want our regular serious runners to definitely be there - and for sure that includes you and supriya. you can immediately confirm your slots by paying ram, giles or raj after the run on sunday. you will also be reqd to fill out the online form, link of which is on the new runners' bash discussion opened by ram on the main page. this is for information purposes only (veg/nonveg etc)
shashi, we're doing bandra-nariman point again on 2nd jan (see discussion thread on main page). hope you will join us - and even if you don't could you come to stadium restaurant after the run say 9ish, as we will discuss the runner's bash thingy. other days are getting extremely difficult to bring the core team together, and we're running out of time.
shashi, next bandra-nariman pt on sunday 5th dec. will you and supriya be joining in this time? see discussion on home page under '5th destination south training run...'
shashi, next bandra-nariman point run on 3rd oct. see discussion on home page. pl inform supriya too. hope you guys can make it. btw, pl let me know how i can pay you for the goa train bookings. how much do i owe you? when giles returns from ktm, can i send the cash with him as i believe you'll meet him at bnp sometime? thanks for doing the needful. really appreciate.
Shashidhar,
I am a tamilian and had adopted to a non-veg diet and then suffered from such pains. Now I have reverted back to veg diet. I am okay now. The pain in my sole was internal. But these things have a funny kind of connection. No, I won't recommend you to have P Kada, like Mike has done. I could not quiet come to terms with the connection of diet with the pain. IT is funny. But if your's is a one-off then there is something else. Mine was recurring pain for several months.
Regards
Hi Shashidhar,
This is Happy. I used to suffer a similar pain in the right foot extending up to the ankle after a run. it would be very painful and I did not know the reason why I suffered it. Then I consulted an ayurvedic doctor and he gave me one look and said I was the `Pith Vata' types and should immediately reduce the intake of heaty foods like eggs, curds...I have found relief but with us runners, the problem is finding the protien balance. This is what I suffered, may not be your case. Also, your knee is also painful, so perhaps it is someing else.
Thanks Shashi for adding me. Im very sorry replying u late as im not in country so not gettin time to check RFL...anyways hows u and Supriya's keeping?? Give my regards to her.... will join u guys soon...take care.
