I ran this race in Bangalore and as always ran way below my potential :). Thanks to the late nights at Asclepius and complete stop to running for 2 weeks :)). It was almost impossible to get up in the morning after sleeping at 2 the previous night. Neither was it easy to come back after the race and head to the office on Sunday afternoon :)
I finished with a rank of somewhere between 170 - 180 amongst 1500 runners. I dont have an official time as something was wrong with my chip and…

You should have followed up with Sunfeast for your TC, it doesn't matter if you did a great timing or not and it doesn't matter if you run for fun or to perform. What is rightfully your, you should followup and get it.
Regarding your invisible injury; I have something on those lines too and I agree with you your aggressive training has led to further injury. I feel sad when I hear such things. In this short span of time, I shall miss you, if you don't turn up at the SCMM 2010.
In the meanwhile, Satya, if you really are unable to make it to SCMM 2010, you can give your Bib to someone who would like to run. Alternatively, someone I know, hasn't got a Bib, therefore, if I'd appreciate it if you give it to me i.e. if you are not giving it to anyone else.
I would certainly like to meet you when I come to Bangalore.
I was reading your Sunfeast 10K run where you say you didn't get an official time as something was wrong with your chip. Did you follow-up with the Sunfeast authorities and finally get your Timing Certificate??
I think it would a good idea to write to them or go personally to their office and ask for your Timing Certificate.
I have been following your career profile for some time now. I have a few people around who give me reports on various runner, beginners or good hi-profile runners.
I have also read your Profile, and I noted you've been prone to injury (just like I used to be some time back).
It's certainly sad, Satya, that you may not run due to your injury; but Satya, you have not told me anything of which part of your leg is injured.
Also, this is not the time to try to improve;
The ideal think, at this juncture, Satya, would be to Ease back on your training work load and rest.
Let me know in further detail your injury.
Regards,
Giles,
How's the running coming through? You getting ready to do a 4hr. 15mins. Full?
Maan, Satya, you're fast.
Regards,
Giles
If you're not able to break 4.00 this time, So What?? You're still a mighty good runner. And that's it. So keep running and do your best.
Giles
