No problem about your late reply Rahul - at least you did reply. Regarding your ITB you need to rest it, ice it and do some light ITB stretching. With time you should heal.
Am not going to do Sunfeast, but many of our group members are doing it.
Regards the finish of last year's 10K finish being close; the 10K being a relatively shorter race (as compared to the Half and Full marathon), one can expect a close race at most times.
Take care,
Regards,
Giles
No, am not doing Sunfeast 10K -- if I were, would you lodge me at your place in Bangalore?? Ha, ha, ha.
As far as the run group in Navi Mumbai is concerned, have received poor response. But run I will with whosoever turns up. Everything starts from small, and so will Navi Mumbai.
Take care of your ITB.
Regards,
I believe sometimes you are in Navi Mumbai. If you are in Navi Mumbai on 7th March (Sunday) I plan to do a group run there. Do hope you will be able to join us.
Regards,
Giles
Thanks the reply, better late than never. Sorry to hear about your ITB problem. But you should have told me that you would be running in that condition. I would have temporarily solved it for you.
I myself ran with a strapped left knee; a hip ligament pull; and my ropes (back of the knee tendons) twisted. At this very moment am still in pain. But despite my predicament, I managed 1hr.57mins.19secs. I guess I should be satisfied.
My Bib No. was 5629. You can check out my photos too.
Regards,
Giles

If you've started with a Long Run, looks like you are already in the groove and in fine form.
Giles
Am not doing the Full, but like you, am doing the Half.
I think it is time you start training for the SCMM.
