Why don't you join the group Run Run Run .... Run Mumbai Run which is on this site under "Groups"? Am sure you will be able to learn from the many good runners on the group.
As as group, we generally train and do our group runs at Borivali National Park (BNP) on Sundays and details of these runs are regularly posted on our Discussion Wall.
On 22nd August, we have organised a Half Marathon race at BNP with many good runners taking part.
Btw, SCMM registration has opened and if you wish you can register for the Half Marathon in 2011. By joining our group you will get enough confidence to do the Half Marathon for the first time.

Thanks for joining the Mumbai M Runners' group and welcome. Please join our discussion forum and post your queries. There are a lot of good runners that will be happy to advise you and help you out.
We do group runs on saturdays at 6am at the goregaon-aarey forest. Do join us sometime if it is convenient and you are close by.
