I am going to be bold in putting across my views again, regarding the sky-rocketing costs of participating in runs organized by RFL
To bring a comparison here, to name a few famous marathons
1. Standard Charter Mumbai Full marathon (2011) - Rs. 700
2. Hyderabad Full Marathon (2011) - Rs 700

Hi Kumar,
I'll be shifting to Whitefield by the end of May and am looking for a running group in this area that meets regularly. Please tell me if you know about such a group.
Second, do you know of a running track in Whitefield/nearby areas where I can do speed-work ?
I want to run the KTM 2011 but am unable to register as the weblink for registration is not working. Have you tried that too ? Is there any other way to register ?

Hi Kumar,
I dont use Garmin but have opted for a cheaper substitute. I use a program called Get Trainer on my Blackberry - helps me stay in touch with people in an emergency and i get basic details such as average pace, current pace, distance covered, ahead/behind target pace etc in a simple screen - helped me buy a pair of shoes with the money saved :)
