My mother's voice tore through the silence and shook me up from my trance, I must have been thinking nothing but 'Running'.
Why don't you clean yourself properly when you come from outside? she came directly to the point. Knowing her discipline for cleanliness and knowing that "She's the LAW at home" I try to stay in the good books of law :) she came closer to me as I was slow in responding to her queries and pointed at my toe (right leg).

Generally on sports doc would be able to diagnose this. Any way you can continue these stretches post workout .
I would also suggest you to consider following
Check your running shoes for wear n tear / right shoe for your gait
Stop running(I know its difficult ) , cross train instead for some weeks cycling , walking or if you have access to a gym the elliptical is good.
Ice the pain area after workout
Recovery may take. longer but you will slowly be able to increase milage
