Hi Jayesh, The group is arranging a half-marathon on 22nd August 2010 at the BNP. The details are posted in the group home page under discussion forums.
Dear Jayesh, I would like to invite you to the 10K race organised by the group at the BNP on Sunday, 25th April, 2010. Details are posted on the group home page site.
Hi Jayesh, do come in for the Speed Interval training at Juhu beach on 2nd April 2010 followed by the Long Slow Distance Run at Borivli National Park on 4th April 2010. Details are available at the group home page.
Hi Jayesh,
If you've been off training since the marathon, so what? You can start at any time. Just run till you're slightly exhausted and that's more or less the distance you should do for a week (with 3 or 4 'run days' a week, not all 7 days). From there you can pick accordingly.
Regarding preparing for the 2011 marathon, one needs about 3 & half months training for the Half to do a decent time. 5 months for the Full. However, hardcore or 'in touch' regular runners need even less time to prepare. It all depends a lot on the condition one is in when preparing for the Half or Full.
Incidentally, our group is having a Race at Borivali National park (BNP). Even if you have Not started running, I think you should make it to BNP so you can meet some of our group members. The Race more of a Fun race, somewhat like checking out the waters for bigger organising of other Races for our group.
Details of the Race is posted on our group's Discussion Forum by Mr. Ram.
Hope to see you there.
Regards,

Hi Jayesh,
Was this your first ever Half Marathon? If so, I think you've done a pretty reasonable time, though of course you can get much better.
5 gardens is a pretty good place to run too.
I am from Bandra and generally run all over the place.
Why don't you join the group Run Run Run .... Run Mumbai Run which is on this site under the sub-title Groups?
We are a varied group of runners, presently 132 members strong. We regularly do our group runs on Sundays.
Keep running, keep smiling.
