Thanks for your encouragement. You are an amazing runner. And I hope "bullets" like you and Fauja Singh keep inspiring me to go on:)
Regards
Happy running!
My shortest interval between two marathons so far have been 2 weeks - I've done less than 4 weeks 3 or 4 times now.
About two marathons 4 weeks apart, I'd say absolutely go for it! Try to do the first one easy so you can recover well for the second one.
Funny you asked this question. In April, I'm planning to run two marathons in 6 days - on two coasts in US - Boston and Big Sur. They have a "Boston 2 Big Sur" challenge that includes extra bling, jacket etc.
Thanks for your response on the "Shoe poll" discussion.
I was reading a review of the "Asics Gel Nimbus 11" at http://www.ransacker.co.uk/2009/08/12/asics-gel-nimbus-11-review/.
Generally it gives a very good impression in the review but for one point which you might need to consider:
"One thing that you may want to bear in mind, I’m 14st and like me the Asics Gel Nimbus 11 are pretty bulky (345g). If you are a lightweight neutral runner you may want to take a look at the excellent New Balance 758’s. Overall I have been very impressed with the Asics Gel Nimbus 11 and I have also stuggled to find a bad word about them across the web."
Happy running and all the best for your next long run.
Thanks and regards,
Sas
