Where in Mumbai do you run?
I am from Bandra (W) and generally run at Joggers Park, Bandra.
I think if you slowly increase your distance in running, you will be able to do the Half Marathon next year.
Why not join the group Run Run Run .... Run Mumbai Run, which is on this RFL site under the sub-heading Groups? The group is mostly of Half Marathoners, some who want to start, beginners and some good Half Marathoners.
