Hello,I was wondering is there are trainers out there who will help me (or a group of people) to train with specific objectives in mind (say a half marathon in 2:15). So I know there are folks like that, but the problem is vicinity. I cant travel large distances 3 times a week (say) because I have work commitments. So ideally, it would have to be someone who shows up at my apartment complex at 6am in the morning, and supervises my workout. I know it will come at a hefty price but would like to…See More
I am nursing an injury since a long time and it is still a few months that I will be away from running. So I had to give the SCMM a very unwilling yet necessary miss:)
But I will be back soon and I do intend to catch up with you at the Ultra this year where I want to complete some unfinished business:)
Hi Abhijit,
Visiting your page is like visiting the galactic space! Of course the star is shining in your arms:-) . yes, I look forward to meeting you in Bangalore in Nov. And if you are running the 10K, wish you the very best!
Regards.
Hi Abhijit,
where do you guys run (is it bellandur, the same spot where 18th april race happened)? and is it everyday? are you planning to run on coming saturday and sunday?
I am planning to start train.
Abhjit, I follow a program from Runners World - all I really do set the target race and update the weekly schedule. Beyond that I find very little time to organize runs etc.
Beyond the disclaimer, it helps a lot to train together so the real benefit comes from having the discipline to follow the schedule to the extent possible given other constraints. So you are most welcome to join us once we get back to regular training - we are currently taking a break post the Auroville Marathon. Next event we will be training for is the Sunfeast 10k and plan to start in the first week of April.
mine was almost unevent ful. I really enjoyed the run and exceeded expectations. i was worried that i might have to walk 6 km or so because i had not trained properly, but i ended up walking only 3 km and ran the rest. overall a very enjoyable experience.
Definitely will meet you when I come for the Bangalore Ultra. Sent you my e-mail and mobile number.
I must speak to Sumeda about our chance meet. I see Uncle sometimes and he is as usual very humorous. God Bless.
Yes, do look me up when you are around - I am at 9880242150...
I assume you live in Bombay but someplace else. I come to visit Aai and Baba sometimes too.
Sumedha is in Hyderabad and no, she does not run.
