Comment by Henna on September 30, 2011 at 15:42 Hi anybody can help me out with who provides 360 degrees competitive training( weight training, nutrition, run chart etc.) for middle distance COMPETITIVE running. Somebody who has a proven track record and good success ratio and of course good knowledge into the subject and who has trained athletes before.
Thanks in Advance :)
Comment by Dr Arjun Lal on September 4, 2011 at 18:40 Dear member
As such I do not organise or conduct training but any body can join me. I do my half marathon runnning practice in Indian agricultural research Institute (popularly known as Pusa). It is a three kilometer road from one end to another with huge trees of jamun, neem and arjun on both sides. I always prefer to practice during morning hours (6 AM to 8 AM).

Sorry Nehal - Don't know about any groups in Surat. But you can get in touch with Dr. Pranav from Surat who is a passionate runner -

Comment by Shankar Seetharaman on August 12, 2011 at 22:31 Hey! looks like I will work with the perspiration plan for now, learning technique will be next stage. The rains and family health have taken away about two weeks from my wog-jog routine.
Comment by Jen Teeling on August 11, 2011 at 15:08 Hi Arvind,
I'm not certain but there only seems to be information for south Mumbai running.
I just wondered if anyone knew of any groups / good outdoor training/runs in North Mumbai.
Thanks Jen

Hi Shankar and Jen,
Take a look at the city specific links above. Click on Mumbai/Bangalore to see the options available.

Many thanks, Jen
