These are the areas that Runners for Life has expertise in and can help you with.

- Runners for Life is a credible name in the eyes of distance runners in the country now. Over the past 6 years of conducting hundreds of runs and events we have always kept the runner at the centre of all our planning and they know that. With RFL as a technical consultant/partner your event is sure to get into the running calendar of many distance runners across the country.
- Over 90% of your target audience for longer distance events are most likely members of our website. With a database of over 10,300 runners from across the country and some from abroad, we can help spread the word about your event through our newsletters, facebook, and twitter pages, and focussed direct mailers.
- Budget: Creating the overall budget depending on the scale of the event.
- Website: Help with the content/layout and timelines for all the necessary updates.
- Registrations: Decide whether the run should be charged or not depending on the target audience. If it is going to be charged for then a decision needs to be made on how much the fee should be. The registration fee is crucial as it impacts the number of registrations. Help with online/offline registration logistics.
- Communications: Communicating with registered participants is an important pre-event factor in ensuring a good overall experience. We will help with the creation of a communications calendar and with the sending of mass mailers.
- Route: Help close on a good and accurately measured route keeping the runners in mind; chalk out start/finish points; help plan route marking from start to finish; assign strategic location for the aid stations.

- Logistics: Create formats to determine everything from the number of promoters needed to the number of portable toilets and where they should be placed. Also create a minute by minute deployment flow-chart for all that needs to be executed before, on and post race day.
- Timings: Figure out your event’s timing needs and liaise with the providers of timing solutions right up to the announcement of results. This involves help in designing data formats, figuring out winner categories, accurate placement of timing mats and helping with the creation of timing certificates following the race.
- Procurement: Create checklists for all departments; calculations to procure all consumables for the race depending on the distance, route and weather. Help with the procurement of goodie bags, medals and other winner prizes.
- Printing: Help with printing the lists and if required, printing of bibs on special rip-resistant material; printing of certificates with timings and names printed (instead of hand written certificates). We can also get other branding collateral printed.

- Our aim is to make running popular across the country and successful events are needed for just that. We work not as service providers but as partners who will advice you on all aspects of organising a race with expertise which we have painstakingly gained over the past 6 years.
