year 2010 was great year for me , where i met tons of new runner and share some wonderful moments with them , share few touchy moments , injury, happiness, list endless.

i ran maximum in year 2010,(u can say kanjus me,  my last shoe retired after more then 3500 km. haha )  did SCMM, KTM, Ultra, and many many 40 and 50 in practice, each and every race has different experience.

my max weekly mileage was in April last year : 130 km per week for 3 weeks. pheww.. and started tapering as zico warn me. ( thks Zico : nobody can touch u r calculation. 2 beer for u ) .

and i becomes very strong after that.

MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTION :

Planning to run 200 km in 24 hour in May last week 28th May 2011 in Mumbai. Looking for strong support from you all.

Zico : need weekly mileage schedule, when to start practice (after sc marathon),

Raj, RU nuts ? 200km in 24 hours ? Y ? i am not saying that u cannot do it, Of course U can, but better still U run the Comrades or some major event where U will be given professional support.

ALL THE BEST : )

Raj, there is a Greenathon planned in mumbai, U should try this :

@ Mike : thks , i will .
raj, thanks, got it.. awesome stuff, esp the 200K wishlist. but then we've come to expect nothing less from our favourite ultra-beer man! i suggest 200 lts of beer to go with the 200K. where else will you get your fuel from, huh buddy? ; )

do you also want to add any timings you were proud off? or any racing moments, like maybe what you felt as you approached 75K at the ultra?

also i hope you forwarded the email to madhu, cos i need to get info from her as well. thx mate.

ps: if there are any scorched areas along the FM route after tomorrow, BMC can blame it on you.

pps: never drinks beer, so you'll have to give me options ; )

@ MIlton : i was disappointed after 75 k, cos was not able to complete 100 k, :(( but then decided to complete my incomplete job next year with good timing. and as usual next morning  like every one , i was ready to get out of house for bread and butter  , but i felt good while driving , that i have achieved something which is very difficult for normal person, and yes i strongly believe , this is possible due to My beautiful wife (Jyoti, and son Indrajeet),

my coach Zico, and all running (and Beer buddy) friends,, who always by my side to cheeer me up , wow,, thats what i called life and i swear i dont want to be millionaire , but this life what i have dreamed abt.

thks again for my dear fam and friends. i luv u all:)

raj, disappointment and 75K do not belong in the same sentence! 75K is just fantasy stuff for most of us. so, in our estimation, you are way up there amongst the finest runners on RFL. and now with your awesome scmm timings, you are now the king of endurance, speed and distance. i know at least i respect you for your fantastic exploits - way above my league, and said with absolutely no shame!

yeah i identify with all you said about family (esp) and friends. i am glad you too have such a wonderful support system. if it weren't for that we'd be running for a lost cause. god bless them abundantly. cheers to everything that we have been blessed with, buddy! *raising my glass of non-beer to that* ;)
