A few photographs from todays Navi Mumbai Run with Barefoot Ted

@All - It was a fine Saturday morning with around 50 enthusiastic runners turning up at the base of Parsik Hill. Ted enthralled the audience with his experiences. At around 6.05 am, we started the 8.5 km run to SIES College via Palm Beach Road. Around 5-6 runners ran barefoot. Ted himself wore his speciality Sandals. Another 10 runners wore minimalistic shoes - vibrams etc. The rest ran with their regular shoes. The run was at an easy 6.30 mins/km pace. At the end of the run, we had a few group photographs which will get uploaded during the course of the day. We also had a lucky draw wherein 8 runners got a toegraphed copy of the"Born to Run" book. Some of us had to leave after that because we had office - the rest went with Ted to have darshan of the giant Hanuman Idol in the temple within the SIES Campus.
I would strongly encourage all to utilise tomorrow's run from Bandra to benefit from Ted's experience in barefoot running. If you are not confident of running the full 19.50 kms, please start from midway or atleast turn up at NCPA, Nariman Point for the post run discussions.
Cheers and look forward to tomorrow :)
@ All : note : after scmm many of us having problem with cold and tiredness , initially i thought its due to overtraining or too much fast running for PB in SCMM, but it seems that its sort of Virus ( not Viru Sahastrabudhe from 3 idiot) , and instead of gulping medicine its better to have Vitamin "C" from lime, Amala, Orange, or any fruit as suits you.
@ Milton : thats is better idea:)
