Nike Run Club Mumbai started 4 months and helped many run a good marathon this January at Mumbai. The group is growing fast under the guidance of Dan Zico and Melwyn Crasto. Join and become a better runner!

Nike Run Club - Mumbai

Come join the Nike Run Club (NRC)!

Venue: - Police Gymkhana, Marine Lines
Time: - 6:00 AM
Day/Date: - Every Sunday

It's absolutely free! All you need to do is to fill a registration form and you will get a bib which you need to bring everytime you come.

We have 2 champion athletic coaches to train all the runners -
Daniel Vaz ( Or Zico as he is more popularly known) - He is a marathon runner himself and an inspiration to many. In fact he is one of the champion runners whom we have featured earlier.To know more about him click here
Melwyn Crasto - He is the athletics coach for central railways and has trained many national winners.

Training at NRC involves -
- Warm up jog starting at 6:00 AM or earlier
- Warm up and stretching exercises at 6: 20 AM
- Run at Marine Drive and other training work outs to make you a stronger runner
- Limber down exercises AND free hand strength training
- The training concludes by 8:00 AM

BTW,I had a good run after that.3 kms facing strong winds while going towards Nariman Point & 3 kms with rain lashing on my back.All in all, cant wait for the next session!
