The name of this group was coined by Myself and Shyam during a run in Lalbagh. Shyam was preparing for H2T2 Hyderabad. In 2008 we had two new Marathons introduced Puducherry and Hyderabad. Looking at the existing ones and the two new ones we realized that we can officially do those Marathons in a year and hence the name.

So idea is to form a group where people target to do these 6 marathons in a running season.

My dear Captain and BHUKMP gangs,

I am really happy to see your TCS timing regardless of the level. All are the result of your year long effort, and nobody doubt it. Keep happy running with weekends regular running, Dandi or Reverse Dandi followed by YP loop, and happy socialization time of breakfast after the run.

Pani-Sir,

Why are you surprised to see only one under 45 mins in your age category when so many of our age category are above 50mins including most in this list :-).

BTW I saw your teams performance. Awesome. Ofcourse Thomas Bobby Tops the list. But everyone I guess has done better than before. We will be going for FM mostly in Hyderabad. Lets have some good Biryani together.

Congrats Captain and to all the BHUKMP Runners. Even I have not improved my timing from last years 44:00 finish and the surprising thing is I am the only person in my age category who have finished below 45:00.

First time I am running in Hyderabad this time and I am going with my team of 20+ for the HM. Wish you all Good Luck.

Rajesh,

I was surprised, now I know what happened to you. You were going steady for a Sub-50 finish till the 9km mark after which i overtook you.

Sounds scary hope some rest takes care of it.  I hope nothing of any such kind happens to any of us.

I injured my left fibula (?) during TCS  ~ 9k mark & barely finished the race . Now I am able to walk with a limp.  I plan to  walk next two weeks  to regain leg strength & then resume running.

See you all by june third week.

Keep running,

Rajesh

All,

Resuming regular Dandi this weekend on Saturday. So basically will try for 530 reverse, followed by YP loop to make it 30km after a long time.

Though have put on some kilos but the TCS10K timing of 50mins change makes me believe I am starting at the same fitness level as last 4 years. So whatever I have achieved till last year I can do equal or better this year. So starting the Marathon season in a positive note. Plan to do a BHUKMP this season if Health doesn't come on the way. So number 1 in the list is Hyderabad in August.

Looking forward to familiar stories of Flight/Train/Bus booking, Acco, Carb loading , Biryani and all that fun which is very very hard earned. Nari, Giri, Chandra, Sid, Vasu, Rajesh, Pani -Sir, and all others Gear up.

Rishi.

Fifth year in a row no improvement. It is average 50 mins at Bangalore world 10K.

50'22", 50'34", 49'50", 50'32" and this year 50'29". But good part is suprisingly no degradation as well. So no movement in the time. I have proved over last 5 years my race speed is 50 mins for 10k.
