Farah Mahmood is one of earliest members of RFL and is also one of the fastest runners around. Apart from being a member she has been of great help to us at RFL .Farah is responsible for the fantastic logos we have for RFL, Ultra Marathon and Urban Stampede.
We asked her a few questions about running. This is what she had to say.
Running for me means:
I can create any space.

About 4 years. Arvind Krishnan suggested I come on one of the RFL runs which was a 14k. Prior to this I used to do short runs of about 5k.

Edinburgh Marathon 2008
If I wasn’t running, I’d most likely be:
playing tennis, bicycling.
My favorite running route:
The area around my home, up this lovely hill.
Favorite running quote:
Never remember any.
Advice to runners out there:
Take a break when you need to (I find this hardest and often regret not having done so).
If there’s one thing I’d change about running, it would be:
Never having to run on roads and having nice long trails across every city instead.
When I m running uphill on my last lap, my brain is saying:
Soon I’ll be up, looking down, I won’t have to do this again. I can also have a cappuccino. (Once up, I’m saying that I’ll do this again very soon).
My favorites running benefit is:
Most effective way to keep fit.
What do I like listening to while I run:
The Killers, Kraftwerk, U2 (Bad at Live Aid 85), Moby, some Classical and Opera.
