HYDERABAD MARATHON
Dear Runner Friends,
I heard there is a Hyderabad full marathon in August or is it an Half marathon ? . Can anyone kindly advise me when the online registration wills start ?

They usually organize two events in a year - a full marathon + half marathon sometime around end August and a 10K run + half marathon sometime around end November. The former is held outside Hyderabad and the latter is held within the city around the Husian sagar lake. The exact dates are usually announced only around a month in advance. Last year the Full/Half Marathon happened on 30th of August. This year as i hear this might get delayed and get clubbed to one event in November.

Hi.. I'm Pramod, Director - Timing Technologies India. We provide the Timing Chip and are the Timing partner for all major marathons and running events in India. We were contacted by the HYD Marathon team to time the event for their marathon and half marathon. So definitely there is this event.

The Hyd event is being planned in the 1st week of November. However, the date is not confirmed yet. I'll be meeting up with the organisers in a couple of days. Should be able to give a broader picture then.
